Historically women have always been involved in the making of books in the early days they might have been scribes, but once there was the invention of the movable type, they would apprentice under their fathers, and help with the family business, which, in most cases would help them help their future spouses with their printing business, as it was not uncommon for the woman to marry in the same field as her fathers. Since the movable printing press was invented by men and men were more likely to work back in the day, but this was invented. It is interesting and fun to see how mom and dad play a role in creating the books we appreciate today. This is just a start of woman in the book industry from here they pave the way for a woman to put their name as the author on the books they wrote on bookstores, become publishers, etc.
