Patent Pending is an American punk rock band formed in Mount Sinai, New York in 2001. The band's works are upbeat and very indie-rock in style, this song “Psycho in Love” being no different. Being released in the collaboration album, One Big Happy!, with two other bands, The Dollyrots and, most notably, Bowing for Soup, this song also received a lyric video on YouTube in late September of 2012.
The lyric video for "Psycho in Love" has around 470,000 views (as of September of 2023) and was produced by John Komar. Komar has worked with Patent Pending for years in producing their music videos and has continued to do so since 2016.
John Komar works under Kinarf Music Videos (his independent production company) and has produced other work for other music artists. He began his career in producing Music Videos by creating a common signature in his style of video editing involves motion graphics and hand drawn animation.
