Mahendra Patel: a 60-year journey of design in India (Interview)

Professor Mahendra Patel is a retired senior faculty from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad; served as an adjunct faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Design and MIT Institute of Design in Pune; and was honored the The Gutenberg Award in 2010 by The International Gutenberg Society, Mainz, Frankfurt, Germany. He is fondly called the “God” of Indian Typography for his many contributions in type design and research.
