Oyama Special Junmai

9

The town of Oyama, where the brewery is located, was under the direct control of the shogunate, and full-scale sake brewing began in the early Edo period (1603-1868), and there used to be dozens of breweries in the area. The town was called the "Little Nada of Tohoku," along with Saijo in Hiroshima and Nada in Kobe, as sake brewing centers. The company was founded in 1872 in this Daisen area. Today, there are only a few breweries left, and the old days have faded away, but the sake was named "Daisen" to represent the area.
