Os Abismos Da Meia-Noite

The project focuses on the film "Os Abismos da Meia-Noite," a romantic drama that was released in 1984. The film was created by António De Macedo and was a  romantic drama with moments of joy, amor, and sadness. The main poster was created by designer Judite Cília, who studied in Lisbon and worked in Paris. Cília gained experience in advertising and later worked at the Instituto Portugues de Cinema in Lisbon.

 The poster is divided into four parts: the film's title, an image from a scene of the film, various characters, the background, and textual information. The title is the central part of the poster, with strong colours and styles used. The rest of the poster features lighter colors and a granulated texture. The title is the most significant element of the poster, with a strong, bold, bubbly effect in the text, this custom typeface was created by the designer. The image selection is the second most important element, with images from various film scenes and a background image. The image group has a certain brightness that contrasts well with the dark background.
