This advertisement is one of a series of PARCO Media Campaigns. At that time, it was common practice for women to faithfully conform to men's thoughts of what a woman should be. However, Eiko Ishioka antithesized common sense by combining black woman and Buson's Haiku 俳句, "which is a Japanese poem, that traditionally evoking images of the natural world. She suggested a standard of independent women.
