50 years of Modern Publicity Graphic

Graphic made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Modern Publicity, an annual book that reviewed each year’s graphic design, illustration and advertising. Goslin executed each X in a different technique. Being a master craftsman, he hand lettered the type.

Goslin was an instructor of Graphic Design and Illustration at Pratt Institute from 1966–2007. He was a highly influential instructor having taught over 1,000 students.
