CTS News Opening, 1977
CTS News is a governmentally funded station in Taiwan, and remained under the ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Education until 2006.
The opening is seen with the globe splitting into two, giving an idea that the viewer is to get a “full” perspective on the world. The graphical movements that are shown are fairly simple, but as a first broadcast system in Taiwan, it offered a grounds for how Television and visual effects may be incorporated into a role of branding on the island.
