Cyberphobia

3

A live performance by the Australian dance music group, Vision Four 5. Their performances featured interactive vide footage and technology.

A nice point between the realms of abstraction and representation, Cyberphobia used a mixture of live footage of the performers mixed and edited in real time. Their use of typography is much more prominent and intentional than many other instances of VJing, making this particular piece very closely linked to graphic design. According to the group, Cyberphobia was “a reflection on the impending tidal wave of computer technology on every day lives and the pushback.”
