Mehrnoush Masoumian was born in 1324 in Tehran, Iran. Masoumian is a graduate of the University of Arts in the field of interior architecture and illustrator of more than twenty books for children and teenagers. She isone of the most prolific illustrators of Franklin publications and Payk magazines in the 1970s, where she has created simple and beautiful images in the field of children's literature. She won the creativity award at the French Exhibition by illustrating the story of Ahmad and Sara and the illustration of the books titled Lullaby and Frog’s Tail won her awards in national exhibitions. She has illustrated such as Noghli, Lizard's Tail, Poetry Buds, One Night A Star Came Here, One After the Other, Selfish, A Little of a Lot, the Woodpecker Who became a Woodpecker and The Small Garden are among her other works.

مهرنوش معصومیان در سال ۱۳۲۴ در تهران ,ایران متولد شد. معصومیان فارغ التحصیل رشته معماری داخلی از دانشگاه هنر است و  تصویرگر بیش از بیست جلد کتاب  کودک و نوجوان. او از تصویرگران پرکار انتشارات فرانکلین و مجله های پیک در دهه ۱۳۵۰ به شمار می رود، در زمینه ی ادبیات کودکان تصویرهایی ساده و زیبا خلق کرده است.  او با تصویرگری کتاب ماجرای احمد و سارا در سال ۱۳۶۴ برنده جایزه خلاقیت نمایشگاه فرانسه شد و تصویرگری کتاب های لالایی و دم قورباغه در نمایشگاه های داخلی جوایزی را نصیب او کرد. تصویرگری کتاب های نقلی، دم مارمولک، غنچه های شعر، یک شب ستاره ای به اینجا آمد، به دنبال هم، از خود راضی، کمی از بسیار، دارکوبی که دارکوب شد و باغ کوچک از دیگر اثار اوست.
