Chess board game produced by the Whitman Publishing Company in 1976. The packaging of the board game is minimal and focused more on the left side. It features 3D sans serif type for the word “Chess”. The “ss” are tilted at a diagonal. The individual components of the game are shown on the top of the box. The overall design is extremely simple compared to the packaging of the Chess board games today.
