This coaster is branded by Patrizier and was used as both a coaster and a bierdeckel. A bierdeckel is a term used for something that covers to top of your drink to prevent debris and bugs from falling in. On the front there is German text that roughly translates to “Brewing experience you can taste,” which is an ad slogan. Both sides have three color print and the backside has a detailed illustration of a rivers view of a town. It is made of cardboard and has two color print on both the front and the back. It was meant to be a single use product but now serves as a collectable item for those who are fans of beer culture.
