Spec-T Cough Drop Ad
This Spec-T ad was found in a 1968 edition of Life Magazine. It features the same man with different types of sore throat. Each symptom and face is colored to match the packaging of the specific type of cough drop. The ad uses photomontage and a three column grid. The large display text at the top is centered over the three images. The strangeness of the ad attracts the attention of a reader that was just flipping through the pages as well as creating a correlation with colors and each product.
