The Alleyway game was a video game published by Nintendo along with the launch of the Nintendo Game Boy. The cartridge is a simple gray color with a sticker graphic that displays the game package graphics. There is a stylized type for the name “Alleyway” which is a sans-serif font with triangles for the cross bars. The first A and the last Y are larger than the other characters, causing almost a framing for the word. The typeface has a red-to-yellow gradient within the characters. The illustration depicting the game is an over-exaggeration of the actual game. It shows a man in a small shuttle that is in action through the use of blurred colors in the background. The ball that reflects off the tiles has an illustration that shows there was an impact and then movement. The whole illustration looks as if it was painted. They include different logos for Nintendo in the bottom left and right corners of the design.
