Chicago Bulls 1991-1992 Championship T-Shirt

7

This t-shirt was designed for the Chicago Bulls team. It features bobblehead-like illustrations of the team and their coach along with bold typography expressing their accomplishments. The t-shirt was to commemorate their 1991 and 1992 back-to-back NBA Championship win. In their 1991 championship series, they played against the Los Angeles Lakers, winning the series 4-1. This series was also Michael Jordan's, first time appearing in the NBA Finals. He also won his first NBA Finals MVP Award, averaging 31.2 points with 56% shooting. In the following championship series, the Bulls won the series 4-2 against the Portland Trail Blazers. The hype around the series was pretty big, as there were comparisons made between Michael Jordan and Portland’s, Clyde Drexler throughout the season. After winning the series,  the Bulls became the fourth team in NBA history to win a championship back-to-back. The graphic style displayed on the t-shirt humorously captures the likenesses of each team member while showing their domination of the sport using black and red gradated type. With this design, fans are reminded of their team’s great achievement and how they’re a part of the Chicago Bulls family.
