The display type is set with phototypesetting technology. The add advertises that these Vodka Martinis are perfect for preventing scurvy. The illustration portrays the unique Calvert Cocktails bottle shape that the viewer could easily recognize in the store.

Just found out that the real illustrator is Sandy Hoffman, not H. Lawrence Hoffman who worked on various pulp covers.
