Big Bambu Cheech and Chong

8

Released in 1972, Big Bambu is the second album by Cheech and Chong. It was designed by Craig Braun and manufactured by his company Sound Packaging Corp. It was designed to look like a giant rolling paper package and contained a real giant rolling paper as well. There are multiple (four) different typefaces being used and features a limited color palette of red and black. This is representative of teenage entertainment as Cheech and Chong produced media targeting a teenage to young adult audience. This album is important because it acts as a time capsule of drug culture and media in the 1970s and was nominated for best comedy album.
