Player's Choice Super Mario Sunshine Packaging

Packaging for the Nintendo GameCube's Super Mario Sunshine. Included in the packaging are as follows: printed disc, Nintendo Power mail-in ad, instruction booklet, and GameCube health and safety precautions booklet. Designs within the packaging embody a tropical aesthetic, with bright colors and abstract sun rays, fitting for a tropical setting. The instruction booklet has a format similar to that of a travel brochure. Included in it is a section for a player to take notes. The packaging is notable within the history of Super Mario cases for having a rare and prominent render of Mario with a serious expression rather than a smile.
