The American Peoples Encyclopedia Yearbook: Events of 1966 is a hardcover book that features the key events in American history during the year 1966. Published in 1967, the book holds a large amount of information that is broken down into the world in review and event of the year. It also holds political cartoons, black/white photos of important people and events, and a few full-color spreads with typographic designs. The outer cover of the book is a sturdy burgundy leather  with large scrolling letters A and P for "American Peoples." The outer edge of the cover also features an organic design. The spine also has the same scrolling pattern but in gold.
