Rubber Duck illustration

2

Peter Ganine filed the patent for the toy duck in 1947.  The first rubber ducks that were made did not even float like they do nowadays. They were more solid and intended to be used as chew toys. Peter Ganine later went on to produce it as a floating toy, and over 50 million of them were sold.

This is an illustration paying homage to that original patent.
