This poster was designed to get people interested in a punk rock concert with multiple bands playing such as American Standard, Shudder to Think, Two Guys... and Uber Alles at Rocket in Providence. This was for true punk rock fans, as the grungy design of it would appeal more towards the edgy, punk rock fan niche. This was most likely produced on an earlier version of photoshop, which is still widely used today. This style of posters is still widely common, and grunge designs are more popular than ever. Looking more into Therrien Roberts work, this style is not unusual for him, as most of his work has grungy designs with lots of grit to it.
