Eiichi Ohtaki “Niagara Moon” Album Cover
This is an album by Japanese singer-songwriter Eiichi Ohtaki (大滝詠一) released in 1975. This is released in the early year of Ohtaki. Ohtaki tried to create this album with many American musical elements in the Japanese language. Therefore, this album is experimental, with Japanese wordplay on old American country and rock 'n' roll. Album artwork was designed by Yasushi Nakayama (中山泰) (1947-2020). He started his career as a member of the design group “Work Shop Mu!!”. After the group break up, Nakayama became a designer for Ohtaki's record label called “Niagara Records”. Nakayama is a pioneer of American-style artwork in the Japanese music industry.
