American Fabrics introduces to the viewer to illustrations and pictorials that defines the importance of fabrics in fashion. Documenting trends of the era ranging from women’s, men’s,  children’s fashion with implementation of industrial uses all center around the magazine's uses. One of the most notable design tactics of AF was the incorporation of both the textiles and the illustrations, filling the page with eccentric illustrations or photographs with modern textiles packing content from the first page to the last.
