Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories

Kingdom hearts is a video game franchise of action-adventure roleplaying games. Re: Chain of memories is the second game in the franchise and a sequel to the first made by Square-Enix. The Games are groundbreaking because they were the first mainstream, popular video game to include a mashup of multiple franchises. Characters created by Disney such as Winnie the Poo, mickey mouse, peter pan, and the little mermaid clash with characters from the Final Fantasy Franchise. The design of the ps2 game cover is important because it encapsulates the style of video game covers in the mid 2000’s. The cover is a unique graphic of characters from the game in a drawn style different from the gameplay. The back of the cover has more unique graphics with images from in the game. It exemplifies Japanese design impact on video games as well as Disney’s.
