PARCO 1973 Poster「 女は明日に燃えるのです」

Roughly translated as, “Women Burn with Tomorrow,” this poster of an African American women in a red dress holding a Doberman was created by Eiko Ishioka in 1973 for the opening of Shibuya PARCO.  Throughout the 1970s Ishioka made many iconic posters for PARCO, often with empowering messages showing the strength of women.
