Golden $5 Bank Note

7

A 6.14” x 2.61” 24k Crisp Gold Foil Bank Note made of Poly carbonate for Vineland National Bank in New Jersey in 1875. The bank note is decorated with embossed type that includes tusken, black letter, and sans serif. It is also stamped with red and blue authenticity markers. This is an example of currency that is no longer in use, so not many people get to see the design anymore. There is a lot of inspiration you can draw from the limited color palette, simplified illustration style, and collaborative use of typography.
