This apple ad from 1984 is found in the July 1984 national geographic magazine. The ad shows the arrival and creation of the Apple IIc Personal Computer. This ad in the magazine perfectly displays the role of advertising in graphic design at the time and the massive impact design had on the success of the advertisement. The ad displays the computer from many angles as well as the screen display it offers. The signature rainbow apple logo is also featured in the ad. This ad is modern, and reminiscent of the 1980’s and its nostalgia seen in graphic design at the time.
