3rd Newspaper Week
Along with a pencil-shaped pattern, it has design of Chouhu Ota, a journalist and politician from Okinawa. He contributed to the launch of Okinawa's first newspaper "Ryukyu Shimpo", promoted the immigration business as a member of the prefectural assembly, vice chairman of the Okinawa Overseas Association and mayor of Shuri City. The 3rd Newspaper Week of 1953 was published to commemorate the 3rd Newspaper Week held each October.
