This poster, written by Kiyoshi Awazu, shows the title, date, and location of the play he is promoting at the top. The bottom part has the same information, but upside down. Furthermore, the right and left sides of the poster are identical, but the left and right sides are reversed. This is an indication of the mysterious feelings of Japanese people toward foreign countries. In particular, many of the items depicted in this poster are daily necessities used by foreigners in Japan at that time.
