Ayao Yamana created the first cover of Nippon Kono in 1934. It was significant because Nippon Kobo used to be ran by several photographers and graphic designers and she became part of the group. After a while, she was unhappy with working with the members. Thus, she left the group to establish Chuo Kobo.
