Techniques
The Gamma Phi Circus is one of the oldest collegiate circuses in the nation. This program was made in 1936, five years after they were founded. The cover is very simple and has the original Gamma Phi logo on it. There is also a simple icon of three balloons. Both the balloons and the logo are shown very clearly due to the complementary black box behind them. This program is so old that colored printing was not realistic due to the price of ink. The design is very simple and straight to the point, providing all the important information in a very legible font.
