Franz Taibosh (also spelled Taaibosh or Taaibosch) was a member of the South African Khorana people who performed Khoisan step dancing at circus sideshows throughout the 1920s and 30s as Klikko, Clicko, Cliko, Clico, or Clicks, the Wild Dancing Bushman. He was born about 1870 and died in 1940, though his New York Times obituary estimated his age at 115. Taibosh began working with Morris Epstein (sometimes spelled Epsteyne), who also went by M. P. (Maurice Patrick "Paddy") Hepston, circa 1912-1913. They came to America in 1917, where Taibosh was exhibited at the Dreamland Circus Sideshow in Coney Island, New York. By 1918 Taibosh left Epstein behind and began working at the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Combined Circus’ Congress of Freaks.
