This program was designed for the 1975 Gamma Phi Circus program (39th annual) at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. This program presents The Gamma Phi Circus and Fraternity's brief history of origin, ongoing growth, sponsors, members, and performances. The program is 12 pages including the cover and back.
The cover of the program includes imagery of 5 monkeys dressed in blue, yellow, and white color scheme clothing. As well as a large brown barrel with the title of Gamma Phi Circus being pushed on a cart by one of the monkeys. The Year 1975 is in a large yellow font above the imagery. The imagery of the monkeys represent playfulness, curiosity, and mischief. The coordination of the image, color, and font draws attention to the sense of mood, tone, and overall feeling of the program.
The third page is a brief history and an appreciation of the ongoing growth of the circus. Page number five is dedicated to 1974-75 sponsors of the Circus (Jerry Polacek and Joe Farrell).Pages six and seven list the order of events for the parade of performers and their performances.
This program is in black and white (besides the cover page) with a few photos and advertisements from local shops, stores, etc of the town.
