A poster that advertised the return of the Bailey's Greater Shows Circus and Hippodrome to Banbury England. Cooper, Bailey, and Co.’s Great International Circus first started out going abroad from America to South Africa, Australia Great Britain between 1876 to 1878. After returning to America, the company later decided to expand its operations to Great London Circus. Bailey's Circus soon joined forces with their rival Barnum’s circus which ultimately adopted the name Barnum & Bailey Circus.
