Polyrhythmics of Consciousness and Light is a series of immersive murals of glass and ceramic components by Harlem-born artist and designer Valerie Maynard, finished in 2002. 

Described as a "sculptor, teacher, printmaker, and designer" Maynard possessed (and continues in her legacy) international acclaim for her work around subjects of equity and civil rights.

Passing on September 19, 2022, Maynard was an educator to many and inspiring figure to more.
