66

The Rocket was a free monthly music and culture magazine in Seattle. Starting with this issue in 1983, illustrated by Charles Burns, it became a Rocket tradition to hire a noted illustrator to create the cover image with a holiday theme. Later covers featured Lynda Barry, Matt Groening, Gary Panter, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, and many more.
