Angel DeCora was a native American woman from the 19th century who designed and illustrated for the “"The Indians’ Book: An Offering by the American Indians of Indian Lore, Musical and Narrative, to Form a Record of the Songs and Legends of Their Race" edited by Natalie Curtis and published in 1907 by Harper and Brothers. DeCora is one of the most well known native illustrators/designers known for her extremely detailed art that embodied native culture.
