First Avenue Stars
First Avenue & 7th st entry is a music venue that displays the over 400 artists that have preformed at the venue with stars painted on the side of the building honoring their names. The first stars appeared in 1984 shortly after Prince's performance of Purple Rain. There have been a number of renovations to the stars since their first appearance, being painted over in the 90s and then replaced in the 2000s with a revised list of artists.
