“City of Fountains, Heart of the Nation” Kansas City seal, designed in 1992 by Patrice Eilts-Jobe, has endured as a beloved symbol of the city for more than 30 years. Cascading fountain sprays of gradating colors combine to form a heart. The seal can be found everywhere – from official documents to monuments to manhole covers.
