Cocaine

2

“Cocaine” is a French lithographic poster that promoted a 5 act play titled “La Splendide.” The poster was mounted on a canvas stretcher. In the photo it shows a green winged monster looming behind the buildings that were the Basilica of Sacre Coeur church and Moulin Rouge. There is also a female in a red dress in the center appearing to be the star, with several men and a jazz musician playing a saxophone.  Not much is known about the play itself.
