Richter and Cochran  Inc. Carolina's Pride Peaches

Richter and Cochran Inc, or more currently known as Richter and Co., is a "family-owned and family-grown" fruit distribution company based in Charlotte NC that is comprised of a "Family of Farmers" that ship fresh produce throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Although the company itself distributes more than just peaches, its because of their founder, Moses Richter, that their company grew to eventually represent peach farmers from both the Eastern and Southern US. In fact, his title of "the Peach King" was coined because of how he was able to effectively market the peaches that he shipped. Once the 1970's rolled around, Richter's sons became the managers of the business, effectively expanding their business and introducing products like onions, peppers, berries, and watermelons to also be shipped along with their peaches.
