The Byrds
Wes Wilson was known as the father of Rock posters, his design is bold and attractive. His font choice was an inspiration from the graphic designers Alfred Roller and his work for the Vienna Secession.
This poster was made and printed before a concert of the Rock band, The Byrds. Wilson has this funky typeface behind a peacock, one of the most majestic birds, with the name of the band written all over it. This was one of many Rock Posters he made.
