“Chairman Mao is the Red Sun in the Heart of the People of the World,” 1967

Mao's Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution was a period for Mao to restore himself to political power after the disaster of the Great Leap Forward that took place during “The Cultural Revolution”.  Mao had a “Little Red Book”, which contained a compilation of Mao's quotes and speeches. It was spread all across the Chinese population so that they can learn about true peace and harmony. A famous quote in the book said: “A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another.”
