Mecklenburg County Map

3

Map made by James Allan Stenhouse in 1951. Was supposedly originally from Exploring old Mecklenburg. This map was found in the special collections section of the Atkins Library at UNC Charlotte.

The map depicts the Entirety of Mecklenburg country at the time of its making as well as parts of surrounding counties. It also shows general borders of cities and towns such as Charlotte and Concord. In addition there are all the major highways and roads in the area with names and markers. There is a mile marker under the title as well as markers on the border to help with scale.
