From the rear cover:
"From Suffragettes to Women's Lib Today. Here are the voices of women—oppressed and liberated, tragic and humorous—protesting wrongs, demanding rights, and singing of freedom. The Liberated Women's Song Book traces the history of The Women's Liberation movement through seventy-seven songs, many of which were written long before the existence of a unified organization."
I designed this book cover and posed for the photo enclosed inside the symbol while employed at Adelson & Eichinger, a small design studio in NYC, from 1970–1971.
