Red Power movement flag

78

The phrase Red Power might be attributed to the author Vine Deloria, Jr. In the late 1960s among American Indians in the United States, a series of movements expressed a growing sense of pan-Indian identity. This flag represented the civil rights concerns faced by Indians, as a result of the federal government’s Termination Policy.
