LES VINS DE BOURGOGNE

3

This is a vintage wine poster from 1925 designed by French illustrator Guy Arnoux. This original lithograph,  Burgundy, or Bourgogne in its native French, refers to wine produced in the Burgundy region of eastern France. In  the image we see a French cavalier smoking a pipe and enjoying a glass of wine.

He is cascaded in grape arbors and sitting atop a barrel of tasty vino. The pops of crimson mixed with the rejuvenating teal accents of the militant coat allow for this royalist to be the focal point of the graphic.
