Coppertone - Colore di Rame

4

Ms. Ballantyne Brand is said to have portrayed her daughter Cheri (who was three at the time) and was inspired by the black Spaniel of her neighbors for the dog. Coppertone's illustration with the little girl with blond braids camped for years on billboards and giant posters on the roads from the United States to Europe, which lead to the seaside resorts. In the words of the slogan “ get a tan! do not burn yourself! "the Coppertone accompanies the Italian seaside summers of the 60s and 70s.

The designer, herself, was from the United States.
