Holiday cards by Third World Gay Revolution, a group of Black and Latino members of the Gay Liberation Front who split off in 1970 to challenge capitalism, racism, and sexism. Participants include Juan Carlos Vidal and Néstor Latrónico. "Third world gays suffer an oppression which is not shared by our white sisters and brothers, one which they could never really FEEL. Therefore, despite the many organizations emerging in the Gay Liberation movement, third world people haven’t been able to relate to any of these. This is due to the inherent racism found in any white group with white leadership and white thinking." Sold by Swann Galleries, from the collection of author Owen Levy.

"One of these holiday cards reads "Celebrate" on the outside, and opens to a lavender image of the word "Gay " in the shape of a hand grenade. The other shows a Christmas tree with "Joy to the World" on the outside. Inside, a trail of gunpowder and weapons leads to the tree, under the header "The Gay Revolution Has Come."
