Photocopied typescript pages. Illustrated from color photographs. (4to) illustrated wrappers with cloth tape spine.
Rare, supposed "anti-drug" volume published by the Concord Police Dept., filled with a variety of information on numerous popular drugs, including cocaine, LSD, etc., as well as a selection of drug related poetry at the rear, all packaged together in psychedelic wrappers. It reads more like a "how-to" volume, rather than a cautionary one. One listing for the 1975 edition at OCLC, but no listings for this 1976 edition.

As an internal guide for a local government the design of this cover is remarkably wacky and intricate. A handcut amoebic shape weaves in and out of disembodied clipart and transfer type (probably Fat Shadow from Letraset) with hand-applied pattern fills. The ‘i’ is dotted with an overhead-view tree, likely from a sheet of transfer images for architects. So good.
